Audrey E. McKenna

Audrey E. McKenna, 73, of Kewaskum, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph’s Hos-pital in the town of Polk.

She was born on March 16, 1933 in Dacada, the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Arendt) Lamb, and on Oct. 31, 1959, she was united in marriage to Roger McKenna at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Dacada.

Prior to her marriage, Audrey was employed by the Port Washington School District working in the superintendent’s office.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Kewaskum, an active member of the Holy Trinity Christian Women and the St. Lawrence Seminary Parents Guild in Mt. Calvary.

Audrey enjoyed volunteering and was a volunteer at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend for many years.

She was an avid sheepshead player and also enjoyed bowling and gardening.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Roger; four children, Patrick (Marie) McKenna and Michael McKenna, both of West Bend, Shawn McKenna of Milwaukee and Bridget (Patrick) Foley of Green Bay; a grandson, Matthew McKenna; three sisters, Muriel Biwan of Sheboygan, Geraldine (Kenneth) Steffen of DePere and Lois (William) Greisch of Port Washington; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Lamb of Sheboygan; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son, Brian John; a sister, Shirley Lamb; two brothers, Jack and James Lamb; and a brother-in-law, Carl Biwan.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Audrey will be held on Friday, July 14, at 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum, following a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum.

Fr. Elroy Pesch O.F.M. Cap. will officiate, and burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the parish cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the 6:30 p.m. prayer service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Holy Trinity Parish or St. Lawrence Seminary, Mt. Calvary are appreciated.
