Eugene F. Kimla
Eugene F. Kimla, 86, formerly of Newburg, died on Saturday, July 15,, 2006 at the Samaritan Health Center, West Bend.
He was born on June 8, 1920 in Mayville to the late George and Mathilda (nee Zeltinger) Kimla.
On October 18, 1952, he was united in marriage to Christine "Mickey" Korneli at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg.
Mickey predeceased July 20, 2001.
For many years, Eugene was employed at Power Products in Grafton, retiring in the early 1980s.
He also enjoyed tending to his hobby farm, which was made up of a little bit of everything. At any given time, there were cows, pigs, ducks, chickens and a variety of other small animals on the farm.
Survivors include a son, Jed of Newburg; a sister, Jeanna (Arthur) Helm of Saukville; a sister-in-law, Mert Kimla of Sauk-ville; a brother-in-law, William Geib of Newburg; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were a son, Gene; a sister, Florence Geib; and two brothers, Jerome and Jimmy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 18, at 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg with Fr. Guy Gurath presiding.
Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Newburg.
Visitation will be at the church only on Tuesday from 4 until 6:45 p.m.
