Shirlee Eloise (nee Pischke) Eggert
Shirlee Eloise (nee Pischke) Eggert went to heaven and joined her loving husband, Fred, on Thursday, June 29, 2006, in Auburn, Wash.
Shirlee lived in Auburn, Sun Lakes, Ariz., West Bend, Havre, Mont. and briefly in Lincoln, Neb.
She was born in Pardeeville and graduated from Slinger High School.
After high school, she worked two years for her uncle at the Enger Kress Leather Co. in West Bend.
Shirlee married Fred J. Eggert Jr. on Jan. 19, 1939 in Havre where Fred partnered with his Uncle Fritzi at the local dairy.
Their 50-year marriage was blessed with two daughters, Kay and Pam, a wonderful family circle, many special friends and countless enjoyable moments.
Shirlee was involved in a variety of activities during her life and excelled at all of them. She was a skilled seamstress, a gourmet cook and great hostess, a model and Havre Beauty Pageant poise instructor, a childrenís clothing retail business owner (Jack and Jillís), a member of St. Paulís Lutheran Church in Havre, a P.E.O. sister in Havre and Sun Lakes, a loving wife and a caring mother.
Shirlee was known for her hospitality, style, grace and sense of fashion.
Survivors include a brother, Jack F. Pischke of West Bend; daughters and sons-in-law, Kay and Merv Chapman of Renton, Wash. and Pam and Paul Peterson of Lincoln, Neb.; grandchildren and spouse, Mark and Ruth Chapman of Auburn and Amy Chapman Santibanez of Pacific, Wash.; great-grandchildren, Corey, Kaitlyn and Cassandra Chapman and Ashley Santibanez; nieces and nephews and their spouses, Lin and Jeff Jacobs of West Bend, Steve and Linda Pischke of Westminister, Colo., Shelley and Ken Burr of Everett, Wash., Jeff and Cindy Eggert of Huntley, Mont. and Jon Eggert of Billings, Mont; and grand dogs and great-grand dogs, Max, the Yorkie, Brandee, the beagle, and Mini-Mouse, the Maltese-Bichon.
Preceding her death were her husband, Fred; her parents, Eva and Fred Pischke; an infant sister, Muriel Faye; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Services were held Wednesday, July 12 at 11 a.m. at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and cemetery in Chandler, Ariz.

Shirlee had a vivacious personality, a spirited nature, a melodic voice and a presence and smile that could enliven any situation. She is lovingly missed by her family and her familyís friends.
