Ronald Martin Krizan
Ronald Martin Krizan, 57, of Oshkosh, formerly of Hustisford, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 in Steam Boat Springs, Colo.
Ronald was born Sept. 24, 1948 in Hustisford to John J. and Caroline M. (Schuett) Krizan. He was a 1966 graduate of Hustisford High School and a 1971 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. On Aug. 24, 1968 he married the former Bonnie J. Buske at United Methodist Church in Watertown. He was employed by the Farmers Insurance Group, operating the Ronald M. Krizan Agency in Hartford. Ron was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hartford, a member of the Toppers Club for eight years (three years in championship). He was also a member of the Hustisford Lions Club and a past member of the Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and golfing. His favorite times were spent in his boat on Lake Winnebago.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Krizan of Oshkosh; his father, John Krizan of Hustisford; three sons, Kevin R. (Becky) Krizan of Marshfield, Kristopher T. Krizan of Mayville and Kurtis D. (Angela) Krizan of Neenah; three grandchildren, Kyle Krizan, Heather Rinehart and Megan English; a great-grandchild, Madisyn Koehler; sisters, Jane (Ronald) Parent of Ashland and Dianne (Michael) Thimm of Hustisford; a brother, Donald (Linda) Krizan of Horicon; brothers-in-law, William (Shari) Buske of Brownsville, Thomas Buske of Columbus, Michael (Pamela) Buske of Juneau and John (Cheryl) Buske of Brownsville; and his father-in-law, Howard Buske of Juneau.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Caroline Krizan; a brother, David Krizan; and his mother-in-law, Lenore Buske.
The funeral service was Monday, July 24 at Christ United Methodist Church in Watertown, with Rev. William Carlson of Stevens Point officiating. Burial was in Concord Methodist Cemetery in Concord. Visitation was Sunday, July 23, 2006 at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown and at the church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ronald M. Krizan Farmers Insurance Mentoring Program.
