Kent J. "Butch" Ceman

Kent J. "Butch" Ceman of Hartford, 68, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at his residence, with his family by his side.

He was born Dec. 18, 1937 in Berlin, Wis. to Alvin and Lucille (nee Faytle) Ceman, and on April 12, 1969 he married Betty Wiedmeyer at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford.

Butch worked for Midas International for 36 years.

Among his many interests, he loved driving his John Deere tractor.

Butch enjoyed fishing, playing cards, bowling, his Sunday morning golf league and going on day trips.

Above all, he was proud of, and loved his family.

Butch is survived by his wife of 37 years, Betty; his children, Pam (Patrick) Beine of Hartford, Keith (Carrie) of Richfield and Todd (Jamie) Ceman of Neenah; his four grandchildren, Cassandra, Allison and Craig Beine, and Kennedy Ceman; his brother, Dick Ceman of Land O’Lakes; his sister, Bonnie (Ron) Marx of Hartford; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Sue (Tom) Miller of West Bend, Jerry Wiedmeyer of Elkhart Lake, Mary (Rich) Egan of Madison and Diane Lemke of Madison.

He is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Terry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 28, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church, 264 W. State St., Hartford, with Father David LaPlante and Father John Theisen concelebrating.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Shimon Funeral Home, Hartford, on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Inurnment will take place in St. Kilian Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Kilian Endowment Fund appreciated.
