Melvin A. Schultz

A memorial service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Grafton American Legion Post, 1540 13th Ave., Grafton, for Melvin A. Schultz. Melvin, a lifelong resident of Cedarburg, died peacefully on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at the age of 91. Hartson Funeral Home in Hales Corners is serving the family.

Melvin served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a musician and played the violin for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

Melvin was the loving stepfather of Laurel, Brian, Debra, Donald and David. He was the proud grandpa of six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Melvin was preceded in death by his loving wife June; his sisters Louise and Roma; and his brother Alfred.
