Thomas M. "Tom" Reynolds Jr.

Thomas M. "Tom" Reynolds Jr., 77, of West Bend, entered into eternal peace on Monday, June 12, 2006 at Kathy Hospice.

Tom was born July 23, 1928 to Thomas M. and Dorris L. (nee Tyler) Reynolds Sr. in La Crosse, where he also spent his childhood.

He graduated from La Crosse High School and went on to further his education at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Tom honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

After returning, he finished his education, graduating from the University of North Dakota.

During the late 1950s, Tom moved to the West Bend area where he worked initially at the West Bend Co.

Tom married Elizabeth J. German on Jan. 25, 1964 at Our Saviorís Lutheran Church in West Bend.

He later became employed at Doede Construction, where he was able to celebrate his retirement.

Tom was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha, Northbrook Church, Boy Scouts of America and the Washington County Republican Party.

Tom will be deeply missed by his loving children, Michael (Gerri) Reynolds of Wausau, John Reynolds of West Bend and Kathy (Chris) Peterson of Hebron, Ky.; four dear grandchildren, Mary Reynolds, and Timothy, Stephen and Rebecca Peterson; and one brother, Fred Reynolds.

He is further survived by other special relatives and dear friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife, Elizabeth, on Nov. 18, 2003.

A memorial service in honor of Tom will be held on Thursday, June 15, at 7 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, with Pastor Lee Hayward officiating.

Cremation will take place at Paradise Cremation Services, with interment of ashes in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend, on Thursday at 3:45 p.m.

Visitation with family and friends will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m.

The family would like to extend their appreciation for memorials that are offered in lieu of flowers to the Kathy Hospice, 3232 Pleasant Valley Road, West Bend, WI 53095, in honor of Tom.
