Whitney Slominski, nee James, of West Bend, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2006, at the age of 41.
Whitney was born June 16, 1964 to Jerry and Susan (nee Shklerikson) James in Milwau-kee.
She will be remembered for her compassionate heart and genuine, helping hands that were always willing to assist anyone in need.
Those who will hold her deep within their hearts and memories, include her husband, Bruce E. Slominski; her father, Jerry (Linda) James; cherished children, Ryan James, Adam Slominski and Dakotah Slomin-ski, all of West Bend; dear siblings, Kimberly (Gerald) Kno-blouch of Cascade, and Troy and Toby James of West Bend; a stepsister, Tammy (Mark) Thompson of West Bend; and her best friend, Wilma (Lonnie) Cram of West Bend.
She will also be missed by nieces, nephews, many other special relatives and dear friend.
Whitney was preceded in death by her mother, Susan.
A funeral service in honor of Whitney will be held on Friday, June 16, at 7 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, with Chaplain Cheryl L. Matusiak officiating.
Interment will take place in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend, on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to express their sincere appreciation for memorials that are offered in honor of Whitney to a fund for her daughter, Dakotah Slominski.
