Vivian E.M. Schiefelbein
Vivian E.M. Schiefelbein of Kewaskum entered into the gates of Heaven on Friday, June 16, 2006 at Maple Dale Manor, at the age of 73.
Vivian was born Feb. 22, 1932 to August and Minnie (nee Lueck) Schiefelbein in Green Lake and spent her childhood in Crystal Lake. She attended and graduated from Glenbuelah High School with the class of 1950.
Vivian was employed at the Lakeshire-Marty in the city of Plymouth. Her favorite pastimes were polka and ballroom dancing with her lifelong companion, Milton Duescher. For many past decades, she also enjoyed attending the State Fair every year. Vivian was a member of St. Lucas Church in Kewaskum.
She will be missed by her brother, LeRoy (Bonnie) Schiefelbein of Kewaskum; and her sister, Evelyn Bower of Sheboygan. She is further survived by many other loving relatives and dear friends.
Vivian was greeted at the gates of Heaven by her parents, her lifetime friend, Milton Duescher; her sister, Margaret Gorzelitz; her brother, Jon Sears; her nephew, Scott Schiefelbein; other relatives and friends.
A funeral service in honor of Vivian will be held on Tuesday 7 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend), with Pastor Timothy A. Henning officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery of Green Bay on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 7 p.m.
The family would like to express a very special thank you to the wonderful staffs of Maple Dale Manor, the Kewaskum Clinic, and the Horizon Hospice. Their thoughtfulness and endless care were immeasurable.
They would also like to extend their appreciation for memorials in honor of Vivian in lieu of flowers donated to the American Cancer Society or St. Lucas School.
