Jeffrey E. Konrath and Christine A. Konrath
Jeffrey E. Konrath, 45, and Christine A. Konrath (nee Gelhar), 48, of Slinger passed away Sunday, June 25, 2006 as a result of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident.
Jeff was born Feb. 17, 1961 in Hartford to James and Jean (nee Wenninger) Konrath.
Christine was born March 23, 1958 in Milwaukee to David and Phyllis (nee Deruso) Gelhar.
Jeff and Chris were married on Feb. 25, 1994 in Las Vegas.
Jeff was the parks director for the town of Richfield for over four years.
He loved fixing things and home remodeling and was a sports fan who enjoyed playing baseball.
Chris was an administrative assistant at the West Bend Harley- Davidson dealership.
She loved camping, scrap booking and being with her family.
Their survivors includes three children, Angeline (fiancˇ Keith) Schreiber and Jason (Jennifer) Schreiber of Milwaukee, and Lena Konrath of Slinger; and two grandchildren Stacy and Saman-tha.
Jeff’s survivors also include his parents, James and Jean Konrath of Summit Lake; two brothers, James (Brenda) Konrath of Colgate and Joseph (Clarita) Konrath of Montello; one sister, Janet (Edward) Weiting of South Carolina; nieces; nephews; relatives and friends.
Chris is also survived by her parents, David of Greenfield and Phyllis of Crivitz; four brothers, Thomas Kusba of Milwaukee, Robert (Sandra) Kusba of Muskego, Earl Jr. (Amanda) Kusba of Crivitz and James Kusba of Prairie du Sac; one sister, Cynthia Claymore of Crivitz; aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Jeff and Chris will be held Friday, June 30, at 9 a.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Slinger with Pastor Rick Lawrence officiating.
Family will greet relatives and friends at the Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union St., Hartford, on Thursday from 3 until 9 p.m.
Interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery, Slinger.
