Dorothy A. Heinecke, 82
Dorothy A. Heinecke, nee Krewald, of West Bend died on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk at the age of 82. She was born on June 15, 1924 in the town of Auburn to the late Walter and Celia (nee Marquardt) Krewald.
On June 29, 1946, she was united in marriage to Donald J. Heinecke at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Church in West Bend. Survivors include her husband Don; seven children: Donald (Diane) of Brunswick, Ga., Dennis (Brenda) of Sheboygan, Diane (Arthur) Klemme of Allenton, Debra (Daniel) Kindler of Hatley, Douglas (Sherry) of Cedar Grove, Dena (Dennis Pryor) of Campbellsport and Dale (Mary Jo Miley) of Jackson; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers: Marcella Krewald of St. Cloud, Melvin (Norma) Krewald of Campbellsport, Myron (Margie) Krewald of West Bend and Ruth (LaVerne) Immel of St. Cloud; three sisters-in-law Dorothy Krewald of Mesa, Ariz., Lorraine (Francis) Braun of West Bend, Catherine (Tom) Breuer of Hartford; one brother-in-law George (Peggy) Heinecke of Muskego; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by six brothers: Walter, Albert, Alvin, Edward, Harvey and Elmer; and one sister-in-law Carol (Ervin) Westphal.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 3 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father. Michael Moran presiding. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery (new) in the town of Barton. Visitation will be at the Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, on Sunday after 4 p.m. with a prayer vigil at 7:30 p.m. and also Monday at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church only from 9:30 until 10:15 a.m.
At the family’s request, memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
