Dorothy A. Maglio

Dorothy A. Maglio, nee Storey, 86, of West Bend, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 2, 2006 at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born on Oct. 22, 1919 in Milwau-kee to the late William and Ida (nee Diefen-thaler) Storey.

She graduated in 1938 from Girls Tech High School in Mil-waukee.

Dorothy was united in marriage to Sebastian "Shaney" Maglio on Aug. 30, 1941 at the army base Shaney was stationed at in Iowa.

Dorothy worked at the former Wilbertís Bakery in Milwaukee until retiring in 1994, after which the couple moved to West Bend.

She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.

Dorothy enjoyed cooking, and her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Sebastian; three children, Daro Maglio, Theresa (Jerry) Stehling and Sandi (Jim) Quade, all of West Bend; six grandchildren, David (Denise D.) Maglio, Denise M. Maglio, Angee Maglio, Dina (Brett) Mendola, Shaney Stehling and Monte Stehling; five great-grandchildren, Samantha Jo Maglio, Sydney Jo Maglio, Graham, Mya and Hailey Mendola; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia Gagliano, Jean Costa and Caroline Rath-kamp; and a brother, Kenneth Storey.

A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Dorothyís life will be held on Monday, March 6 at 5 p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, West Bend, with Rev. John Wutscheck officiating.

Visitation will be Monday at the church only from 3 p.m. until the time of Mass.

There will also be a visitation from 10 until 11 a.m. in the chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee before the committal and entombment.
