Roy H. "Skooby" Dixon
Roy H. "Skooby" Dixon, 35, of Germantown, left this world, to meet family and friends that preceded him in death, on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa, after a courageous battle with kidney failure.
Roy was born on March 26, 1970 to Brian Howard and Patricia Ann (nee Wigman) Dixon, in Milwaukee.
Their family later moved to the Slinger area, where Roy attended Slinger High School.
He enjoyed spending time on his many interests, including his favorites, bicycles, motorcycles, his car and stereo, archery, fishing and remote control car racing.
Roy also loved to play sheepshead, both online and with his friends and family. During one of his games, he met the love of his life and best friend, Judith Rivard.
The couple dedicated their love to one another on Oct. 9, 2004 in Toronto, Canada.
Roy has forever touched the lives of his beloved wife, Judith Rivard-Dixon; his parents, Brian and Patricia Dixon (nee Wigman); his brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Stephanie Dixon of Kewas-kum; his maternal grandmother, LaVerne Wigman; paternal grandfather, Alvin Dixon; and his cherished nieces, Ali and Megan Dixon.
He will also be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other special relatives and many dear friends.
Roy was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Mark Wigman, and paternal grandmother, Lenore Butt.
A memorial service to honor the life of Roy will be held on Friday, March 10, at 6 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, with Rev. John C. Bass officiating.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6 p.m.

The family would like to thank all of Roy’s caregivers over the years, especially Dr. Mark Adams.
