Jerry D. Grotelueschen

Jerry D. Grotelueschen, 39, of rural Mayville died on Monday, March 20, 2006 at his residence.

He was born May 22, 1966 in West Bend to John B. and Margaret M. (nee Krejci) Grotelueschen.

Jerry attended Zum Kripplein Christi Lutheran School and graduated from Mayville High School in 1984.

He worked on the family farm before his employment at Weasler Engineering in West Bend.

With his brother, Jerry also worked at J&B machining in Mayville.

He enjoyed working on vehicles and was a friend you could always count on for help.

Survivors include a son, Kevin of Mayville; a daughter, Kathilynne of Mayville; his parents, John and Margaret Grotelueschen of Mayville; four brothers, John W. (Brenda) of Mayville, Jay (Melinda) of La Crosse, Jeff (Mary) of Waunakee and Jim (Colleen) of Watertown; a sister, Jill (John) Tinder of Belgium, Wis.; his paternal grandmother, Pearl Grotelueschen of West Bend; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents and a brother, Joey, in 2002.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 25 at 1 p.m. at Zum Kripplein Christi Lutheran Church, W1880 Rock Road, town of Herman.

Rev. John Bonow II will officiate, and interment will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. A memorial will be established at a later date.

The Cottrill Funeral Home, Mayville, is assisting the family.
