Timothy R. McLaughlin

Timothy R. McLaughlin, 82, of Hartford, surrounded by his loving family, was born to eternal life on Tuesday, March 14, 2006.

He was born in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of James and Mary (nee O’Brien) McLaughlin, and was a graduate of Marquette University.

He served his country in the United States Army during World War II, and married Ruth Boncel in Milwaukee on Jan. 29, 1949.

He retired from Milwaukee Centrifuge after 28 years of service.

In his retirement, Tim worked at Kettle Moraine Golf Course for many years.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4580 and a member of St. Kilian’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include his loving wife, Ruth of Hartford and his loving children, Timothy R. Jr. (Mary) McLaughlin of Nevada, Iowa, Patrick (Kathleen) Mc-Laughlin of New Berlin, Ruth (John) Ferry of Okemos, Mich., Mary Claire (Bruce) Nawrocke of Lake Mary, Fla., Kathi (James) Olson of Jackson and Maureen (Michael) Brohmer of La Crosse.

He is also survived by his cherished 25 grandchildren and 4 1Ú2 great-grandchildren.

He was the brother of James (Nancy) McLaughlin of Tuleake, Calif., Leo McLaughlin and Rosemary Boschert of Billings, Mont.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, John; and a grandson, Patrick Ryan.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, March 28 from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m.

Interment will be at St. Adal-bert’s Cemetery, Milwaukee.

Memorials to St. Kilian Catholic Church, ASERA Care Hospice, the Alzheimer’s Associa-tion or ALS Foundation (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) are appreciated.
