Wanda (Zalewski) Drews

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Francis Borgia South Catholic Church, N44 W6055 Hamiliton Road, Cedarburg, for Wanda (Zalewski) Drews, 82 of Beaver Creek, Ohio, and formerly of Cedarburg, who went to be with the Lord at Hospice of Dayton on Monday, March 27, 2006. Visitation will be held at Mueller Funeral Home, W63 N527 Hanover Ave., Cedarburg, on Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will be at the church cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Emily Zalewski; sisters Josie Milewski, Bernice Glowacki, Sr. Mary Philothea, O.F., and Gladys Rogalinski; brothers Ben, Val and Stanley Zalewski; her loving husband, Robert Drews; and by her son, Bobby Drews.

Wendy is survived by dearest brothers Lawrence and Henry (Chip) Zalewski; sisters-in-law Jean Zalewski and Hazel and Kathy Drews; brother-in-law Alan Drews; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and John Mitchel of Beavercreek, Ohio; beloved grandchildren, Christopher, Betsy and Chelsea Mitchel; numerous loving nieces, nephews, godchildren and devoted friends.

She was a longtime active member of St. Francis Borgia Parish in Cedarburg. Before retiring, Wendy worked with her husband, Bob, for many years at Philipp Litho in Grafton. Anyone who knew her loved her.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Dayton, The Miami Valley Alzheimer’s Association, Green County Council on Aging and Miami Valley Senior Care. Wendy was lovingly cared for by many. Special thanks to Cheryl Woods, Edna McDavid, Bea Anderson, Lynn McGaffic, Judy McCoy, Merle Roach, Dr. Wu, April, Audrey, Lindsay, Kim, Debbie, Dee, Delores and Phyllis.
