Susan M. Runge
Susan M. Runge, 59, of Campbellsport died Saturday, April 29, 2006 at the Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac, surrounded by her family, after a long battle with cancer.
She was born Jan. 27, 1947 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Theodore and Arlene (Osmaloski) Marczewski, and on Aug. 5, 1972, she married David E. Runge at St. Matthew’s Church in Campbells-port.
Sue was a graduate of Alverno College with a degree in violin and a minor in music education.
She was a teacher in the Campbellsport School District and later a teacher’s aide in the Kewaskum School District.
Sue was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Campbellsport and the Barbershop Chorus in Plymouth.
She also taught Suzuki violin, was a NASCAR fan, loved the color purple and had played the violin since she was 8 years old.
Survivors include her husband, David; her mother, Arlene Marczewski of Milwaukee; her son, Derek (special friend, Amber) of Neenah; Derek’s son, Jayden; her daughter, Lisa (special friend, Andy) of Milwaukee; her sister, Chris (Richard) Bach-mann of Menomonee Falls; her mother-in-law, Marian "Toots" Runge of Campbellsport; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jane and Ron Furlong of Ply-mouth, Minn., Donald and Alice Runge of Lamartine, Joyce and Ron Beck of Oakfield and Gary and Pauline Runge of Fond du Lac; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her father, Theodore, and her father-in-law, Ed Runge.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 2 at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church of Campbellsport.
Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate with cremation to follow and inurnment in St. Matthew’s Cem-etery at a later date.
Visitation at the Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport, will be on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and also on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
