A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton for Margaret M. Raymond (nee Bohman), who passed away peacefully on May 3, 2006 at the age of 82. The Rev. Steve Lampe will celebrate the Mass. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m to 1 p.m., prior to the service. Margaret was born in Laona on Nov. 17, 1923 to the late Frank and Christina (nee Britton) Bohman. On June 5, 1948 she married Richard Raymond. Their marriage was blessed with four children.

Margaret was a very active member at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton and was also an active member of the Christian Mothers Group. In her earlier years, she served as a Brownie and Scout Leader. Margaret was best known as "Mrs. Raymond from the drug store" because she had worked as a clerk at Plaza Drugs for many years. She enjoyed playing cards and had played solitaire on a daily basis. Although she enjoyed her many activities as well as watching sports, her true love was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by her children James (Kathy) Raymond of Saukville, Mary (Richard) Goehring of Illinois and William Raymond of Newburg; son-in-law Bruce Eernisse of Tennessee; grandchildren Peter (friend Kris Marshall) Raymond, Brian (Valerie) Raymond, Justin Goehring, Lorna Eernisse, Tom Eernisse, Jim Eernisse, Joe Raymond and Mychal Raymond; brothers Robert (Marie) Bohman and William Bohman; one and "one-half" great-grandchildren Lynda Eernisse and Baby Raymond (on the way); special friends Tiffany, Keith and Kelli Marshall. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Richard; daughter Linda Eernisse; and sister Dorothy VanderLeest. She will be missed by all who knew her.
