Nancy L. Muencheberg

Nancy L. Muencheberg, nee Schueler, 61, of West Bend, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2006 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph’s Hospital, town of Polk.

Nancy was born in Milwaukee on April 7, 1945 to Walter E. and Annette C. (nee Lawonn) Schueler.

She was raised in the Elm Grove area, and graduated from Brookfield Central in 1963.

After high school, she attended Lakeland College and earned her degree in teaching.

On Aug. 7, 1965, she married Roger J. Muencheberg at Elm Grove Lutheran Church.

The couple moved to various cities until settling in West Bend, where Nancy taught in the public school system as an elementary teacher.

Her number one priority was her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening, Nascar and the Wisconsin Badgers.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Roger; their children, Diane (Jeffrey) Munn and Adam (Sheila) Muencheberg,both of West Bend, and David Muencheberg (special friend, Shani Bown) of Menomonee Falls; and grandchildren, Allison Munn and Carsen Muencheberg.

She is further survived by her siblings, Carol (Don) Bloedorn of Antigo, Marilynn (Dick) Orlopp of West Bend, Jeanette (Robert) Foster of Sheboygan and Diane (Jack) Champaigne of Howards Grove; her mom, Annette Schueler of Green Bay; a brother-in-law, Edward (Kathy) Muencheberg of Jackson; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Walter, and her parents-in-law.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 14, at 7 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 1044 S. Silverbrook Drive, West Bend.

Pastor Oscar Kraft will officiate, and cremation will take place at Paradise Cremation Services.

Visitation will be on Sunday at the church only from 6 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m.

Memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society of Southeastern Wisconsin.
