Alice B. Arndt

Alice B. Arndt, 99, of Fredonia passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 10, 2006.

Alice was born on May 3, 1907 in Newburg, to the late Alvin and Theresa (nee Ferber) Koenig, and married Carl A. Arndt in 1929 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg.

Their marriage was blessed with two children, Carl "Mickey" and Carol.

Alice and Carl farmed in the town of Cedarburg until moving to Fredonia in June of 1957.

Alice also worked as a cashier at Schmitz Meat Market in Grafton, as well as at the grocery store in Fredonia.

She enjoyed craft projects and crocheting, as well as being an avid reader.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Carol (Henry) Prom of West Bend; grandchildren, Kelly (Mel-anie) Arndt of Port Washington, Kyle Arndt of Las Vegas Nev., Michael (Debra) Prom of Jack-son, Deborah (Richard) Rod-riguez of Port Washington, Patrick (Debi) Prom of Adell, Kevin Prom of Howards Grove, Keith Prom of Plymouth, Diane (Robert) Schneidewind of Waldo, Robin (Alan) Matenaer of Fre-donia, Kerry (Eileen) Prom of Adell, Kristopher (Charolette) Prom and Sean (Eryn) Prom of West Bend.

Also surviving are a daughter-in-law, Suzanne Arndt of Graf-ton; 18 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Carl A. Arndt; a son, Carl "Mickey" Arndt; a granddaughter, Renee Gundrum; a sister; and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 15, at 7 p.m. at the Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg.

Visitation at the funeral home will be Monday from 5 p.m. until the time of services.
