Lorraine Hack, nee Herman, formerly Wiedmeyer, 86, of West Bend, died on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at the Samaritan Health Center.
She was born on July 9, 1919 in the town of Wayne to the late Carl and Alma (nee Krueger) Herman, and on Dec. 28, 1940, she was united in marriage to Philip L. Wiedmeyer in West Bend.
Philip predeceased Dec. 2, 1944. She then married Orville J. Hack in West Bend on May 4, 1946.
Lorraine lived in West Bend, until moving to the town of Addison, where she along with her family, operated a farm.
Following Orville’s death on Nov. 6, 1978, she stopped farming.
In 1999, she moved to Allenton, and since October, 2004, she has been a resident of the Samaritan Health Center.
Lorraine was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in the town of Herman.
Survivors include three children Phyllis (Donald) Scharfen-berg of Oconomowoc, David A. (Margie) Wiedmeyer of Allenton and Susan (Sherwood) Masche of Brookfield; eight grandchildren, Jackie (Roger Clark) Scharfen-berg, Don (Donna) Scharfenberg, Sharon (Manny) Londono, Mike (Jackie) Wiedmeyer, Tom Wied-meyer, Steve (Laura) Wagner, Shelby (David) Davidson and Lora Wagner; eight great-grandchildren, Jacob and Annette Londono, Eric and Alex Schar-fenberg, Joey and Tanner Wied-meyer and Jack and Katie Wagner; a special niece, Marte Ann Duncan; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by three sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 18, at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, W630 Highway 33, in the town of Herman, with Rev. Kenneth Bittorf officiating.
Burial will follow in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Nenno.
Visitation will be at the church only on Thursday from noon until 1:45 p.m.
The family has requested memorials to Emmanuel Evan-gelical Lutheran Church.
The Schmidt Funeral Home of West Bend is serving the family.
