Wolfgang H. Klassen
Wolfgang H. Klassen, 74, of Slinger passed away Sunday, May 14, 2006 with Loretta, his cousin Inga, and his beloved German shepherds, Tara and Alex, at his bedside.
He was born on Jan. 2, 1932 in Rheinhausen, Germany, the son of Peter and Lena (nee Koch) Klassen, and married Loretta Brooks on Aug. 14, 1962 in Boise, Idaho.
Wolf immigrated to the United States in 1957 and worked at the University of Utah in medical research.
His career spanned the United States as a chemist, international marketing and environmental protection.
He is survived by his loving wife, Loretta; his cousin, Inga of Germany; his mother-in-law, Virginia Crittendon; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends, and a special friend, Rick Pierce of Muskego.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 20, at 1 p.m. at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home, Hartford.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
