Ruth A. Dickmann

Ruth A. Dickmann, nee Wagner, 79, of West Bend, died Saturday, May 20, 2006 at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center.

She was born Feb. 10, 1927 in West Bend to the late Peter and Erna (nee Kanies) Wagner and married Edwin J. Dickmann Jr. on June 16, 1945 at the Holy Angels Church Rectory.

Ed passed away on March 5, 1984.

Ruth was a lifelong resident of West Bend.

After her graduation from West Bend High School and her marriage to Edwin, she was employed at WBKV Radio as a secretary from 1950 until retiring in 1989.

In January of 1991 she became a resident of the Cedar Lake Home.

She was a member of West Bend Ch. 732 Women of the Moose and the Christian Women’s Con-fraternity at St. Frances Cabrini Church in West Bend.

Survivors include a daughter, Helen (Kenneth) Dornacker of West Bend, and two grandsons, Kenneth Jr. of West Bend and Kurt of Waterloo.

She is further survived by her siblings, Evelyn Kalies, Eugene (Annella) Wagner, Harriet (Lawrence) Leppla and Richard (Janet) Wagner, all of West Bend, Joan (Irv) Claas of Sussex, Mary Snyder of West Bend, Raymond "Butch" (Nancy) Wagner of Texas, Bernice Voeks of Bolton-ville and Sue Ann (Peter) Geib of West Bend; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Wagner of West Bend and Margaret Klumb-Childress of Cape Coral, Fla.; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by two brothers and four brothers-in-law.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Matthias Chapel in Nabob with Rev. Joseph Dominic presiding.

Committal services will be in St. Matthias Cemetery.

Visitation at the church only will be on Tuesday from 4 until 6:15 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Boy’s Town Orphanage in Kerala, India are appreciated.
