Hazel L. Herman

Hazel L. Herman, (nee Moritz), 87, of West Bend, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2006 at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.

She was born on Sept. 26, 1918 on the family homestead farm in Kohlsville to the late Paul and Selma (nee Metzner) Moritz and was united in marriage to Ray Herman on June 29, 1946 at St. Johnís United Church of Christ in Kohlsville. Together they farmed on the family farm.

Ray preceded her in death in 1959. Hazel moved to West Bend and worked at the Amity Com-pany and as a secretary at the Samaritan Health Center.

Hazel was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend and was also the sponsor of her nephew Roger Moritz.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Gladys Moritz; and her children, Roger (Barbara) Moritz, Sheryl (David) Pajewski, and Marjorie (Allen) Latall; a brother-in-law, Wilmer (Alice) Herman; and his children, David (Sue) Herman, and Jerry (Sue) Herman; other relatives and friends.

Private family graveside services will be held Saturday (today) at Theresa Union Cemetery. Rev. David Schoob of Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend will officiate.

Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service of West Bend is assisting the family.
