Helen Hoffmann, 90, of Hartford passed away on Friday, Oct. 27, 2006.
She was born on Jan. 25, 1916 in Lucas, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Elsie (nee Meeker) Snuggs, and married Raymond Hoffman in Arkansas on May 18, 1942.
Helen is survived by her children, Raymond (Marilynn) Hoffmann of West Bend, Carol (John) Woods of Virginia and Mary (Leroy) Shellman of Milwaukee; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Tina) Hoffmann of Indiana, Heidi (Christopher) Fortier of Chicago, James Woods, Sharon (Cornell) Conley, Rachael (Peter) Yellman and Michael Woods, all of of Virginia.
Also surviving are 16 great-grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Neva O’Hara of Fond du Lac, Robert (Joyce) Snuggs of Kingston, Alton (Alice) Snuggs of Menomonee Falls and Wilma (Lee) Comstock of Denver; her brother-in-law, Lyle Ripperger of Iowa; her sister-in-law, Mary Bell Snuggs of Arkansas; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond in 1983; and by her brothers and sisters, Ray (Melissa) Snuggs, Francis Snuggs, Charlotte Ripperger and Evelyn (Carl) Hasenbusch.
Visitation was Tuesday, Oct. 31 at Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home in Hartford. The funeral service followed, with Rev. James Castillo officiating.
Interment was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006.
