Joseph "Joe" E. Ferencevich

Joseph "Joe" E. Ferencevich, 68, Glendale, formerly of Saukville, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006 at Aurora St. Lukeís Medical Center, Milwaukee.

He was born on Feb. 4, 1938 to Joseph and Eunice May Feren-cevich in Milwaukee, was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Riverside High School.

He worked for over 23 years, becoming a supervisor at Ameri-can Motors.

He later did security work for Pinkertonís and others, as well as serving as a plant manager for the WR Grace Co.

During much of this time, he lived in the Saukville while raising his family.

He will be remembered for his dedication to Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, especially Troop 868.

He was active with the Milwaukee Boy Scout Council and other youth organizations.

Joe also had been active with local 4-H when his children were young.

He enjoyed fishing and a creative side by drawing and painting.

For the past nine years he had been a resident of Colonial Manor in Glendale.

Survivors include his children, Marla (Daniel) Race of Saukville, Kristin (Devin) Finke of Danville, Iowa, Joseph Ferencevich of St. Joseph, Mich., Andrew (Jennifer) Ferencevich Sr. of Stathan, Ga. and William (Holly) Ferencevich of Rock Island, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Lee, Curtis and Evan Race, Andrew Ferencevich Jr., Anna Ferencevich, Lauren Finke and Eric and Nicole Ferencevich; two sisters, Barbara (Edwin) Kotlewski of Mountain Home, Ark. and Marion (Duane) Duenkel of West Bend; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by an infant brother, Joseph Thomas, and a brother, Mark Ferencevich.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at St. Peterís United Church of Christ, 166 W. Dekora St., Saukville.

Pastor Donald Ellerman will be the officiant, and interment will take place in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Milwaukee.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday the church.

Memorials to the Boy Scouts are appreciated.
