Eugene "Bud" Stevenson
Eugene "Bud" Stevenson, 75, of Kewaskum, entered into eternal peace on Monday, Nov. 13, 2006 at his residence.
Bud was born on Jan. 13, 1931, the son of Alvina Jarzonbeck, in Milwaukee, where he was also raised.
Once he completed his education, Bud began working, and then honorably entered into the United States Army.
After serving his country, Bud worked several different jobs, until he became a 30-year employee at Chrysler, formerly Ameri-can Motors, until his retirement.
On Aug. 16, 1958, Bud married Maria "Mary" Soledad Ojeda in Milwaukee. The couple was able to celebrate 48 wonderful years of marriage.
He enjoyed the practice of Judo, and had a passion for woodworking, building homes and finish-woodwork.
Bud was a member of the Eagles Club.
He will be missed by his beloved wife, Mary; his children, Cindy (Kenneth) Hetue of West Bend, Burton (Susan) Stevenson of Newburg, Jessica (Scott) Schallock and Sherry (Brian) Eckert, both of West Bend; his 14 treasured grandchildren; his sisters, June (Hank) Winters of West Bend and Shirley Ragsdale of Slinger; his brothers, Richie (Nadene) Stevenson and Jimmy (Delores) Stevenson, both of Lisbon, and Jerry (Diane) Stevenson of Colorado; his sisters-in-law, Kathy Stevenson of Milwaukee and Christina Johnson of Alaska; many nieces, nephews, other special relatives and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, David Stevenson, Teddy Stevenson, Sally Stevenson, and LeRoy Stevenson; and one sister, Bernice Kozlowski.
A memorial service in honor of Bud will be held on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend.
Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.
Cremation will take place at Paradise Cremation Services of West Bend.
The family would like to extend its appreciation for memorials that are offered in lieu of flowers to Northview Church, 10710 W. Mill Road, Milwaukee, WI 53225.
They would also like to express their heartfelt thanks to the nursing professionals, Vickie, Karen, Mickey and Tina, at Horizon Care for the compassionate and genuine care they offered to Bud.
