Evellyn "Evie" Fern Lischka

Evellyn "Evie" Fern Lischka, nee Munsel, 83, of Hartford passed away Monday, Nov. 13, 2006 at the Aurora Medical Center in Hartford.

She was born April 27, 1923 in Goff, Kan. to Samuel and Lura (nee Wathen) Munsel, and married Anthony Lischka on Feb. 17, 1945 in Omaha, Neb.

Evellyn was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church and the Hartford Senior Friends. She enjoyed the outdoors and bird watching.

Evie is survived by her children, Steven Lischka of Gulf Port, Miss., Robert (Diane) Lischka of Hartford, Susanne (Steve) Jonas of Slinger and Pamela (special friend Paul Fink) of Hartford; seven grandchildren, Daniel (Vicki), Kevin (Bobby Jo), Stacey (Michael), Tony (Kerri) Kim, Kristi and Marcus; six great-grandchildren, Amber Noel, Elisabeth, Grace, Anthony, Sara and Robby; and two sisters-in-law, Johanna Lischka of Green Bay and Lucy Lischka of Fall River.

She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Anthony; six sisters; and four brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Evie will be held on Friday, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Chapel in Thompson with Father David LaPlante officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday at the Shimon Funeral Home in Hartford from 4 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.

Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Thompson.
