Sgt. Keith W. Ruplinger
Sgt. Keith W. Ruplinger, 34 of Milwaukee, formerly of West Bend, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006 at his residence.
He was born Oct. 31, 1972 in West Bend to Sylvester and Nancy (nee Neu) Ruplinger.
Keith attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic School before graduating from West Bend East High School in 1991.
He was employed at Serigraph Inc., West Bend, and in November of 1997 he joined the Milwaukee Police Department where he achieved the rank of sergeant.
Keith loved being a police officer and enjoyed sports. He was an avid Packers and Brewers fan.
Keith was a member of the Milwaukee Police Association.
Survivors include his son, Evan; his parents, Sylvester and Nancy Ruplinger of West Bend; and three sisters, Jodi (Scott) Klemstein of West Bend, Kori (John) Hoffert of Lexington, Ky. and Jolene Ruplinger of West Bend.
He is further survived by his nieces and nephews, Eli, Zack and Lauren Klemstein and Brooke, Josh, Elizabeth and Charlie Hoffert; and other relatives and friends.
Keith was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Crescentia Ruplinger and Alphonse and Margaret Neu.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Rev. Raphael Rodriguez presiding.
Burial will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, at the church only from 3:30 until 6:45 p.m.
