Frederick Louis Tietyen

Private services were held for Frederick Louis Tietyen of Cedarburg, who died peacefully at home on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006 at the age of 83. Interment took place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton. Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg served the family.

Fred was born July 15, 1923 on a farm in Greenfield to the late Edward and Amanda (nee Pagenkopf) Tietyen. His family later moved to Fredonia.

On April 27, 1957, Fred married Henrietta (nee Reiter) and they were blessed with two daughters, Christine and Sandy. He was a hard-working husband and father who provided for his family. A farmer in his early years, he later took a job at A.O. Smith where he worked as a heat treater for 38 years. He was an excellent mechanic and loved to work on cars. Fred didnít rest much as he enjoyed being outdoors, traveling, flea markets and meeting people.

Fred is survived by his beloved wife Henrietta; his loving daughters Christine (David) Lange and Sandy Tietyen; his dear brother Robert; brothers-in-law Gilbert (Phyllis) Reiter and Edward (Marion) Rieter; and his longtime friend Joe (Eunice) Greenley. Fred is further survived by other relatives and friends.
