Charles C. Jaskolski
Charles C. Jaskolski, 81, died peacefully on Sept. 30, 2006.
He is survived by his second wife and best friend, Florence (Nolan) Jaskolski of West Bend; three children from his first marriage to the late Ordell (Rehberg-er) Jaskolski, Kenneth (Diane) Jaskolski and Carl (Olivia) Jas-kolski, both of Milwaukee, and Karen Satterfield of German-town.
He was the grandfather of David Jaskol-ski of Sussex, Joseph (Donda) Jaskolski of Hartford, Heather (James) Stadler of Sussex and Eric C. Jaskol-ski of Milwaukee; and great-grandfather of Tessa, Noah, Natalia, Zachary, Samatha and Alisa.
He also is survived by step-daughters, Carol (Ray) Knapp of West Bend, Nancy (Howard) Lovejoy and Martha "Dolly" (Daniel) Martinez, both of Milwaukee; and plus stepsons David (Jody) Galdick of River Falls and Larry (Leone) Galdick, Milwaukee.
Chuck worked as a supervisor for the Milwaukee County Highway Department from 1971 to 1987.
There were many days, nights and holidays that he worked to keep our freeways safe and drivable from ice and snowstorms. He truly was a dedicated and committed civil servant.
Charles was also a proud member of the Disabled American Veterans and DAV Auxiliary, having served in World War II.
Friends are invited to celebrate his life on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at the Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend.
Visitation is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. followed by the service at 7:30 p.m.
Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday in Arlington Park Cemetery, 4011 S. 27th St., Greenfield.
