She was loving mother of Jill (Frederick) Busch of Boulder Junction, Wendy (Richard) Calcaterra of Marin County, Calif., and Scott (Laura) Bscherer of Cedar Grove. Proud and devoted grandma of Nicole, Ricky and Kaitlyn Busch; and Nicholas, Frankie, and Joey Calcaterra. Dear sister of Geraldine (Joel) Diemer, Nancy (Herman) Panzer, Lester Junghans, Jackie Stumpf, Cheryl Lorenz, Beryl (Michael) Held, Judy Douglas and Mark Junghans. Dear friend of Richard Bscherer. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Janis was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Paul Junghans.

The family wishes to express a heartfelt thanks to Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital, specifically Dr. Dee Ann Smith, Dr. Thomas Zukowski and the nursing staff in the Med-Surg Garden Center where Janis received exceptional care. Also, Susie Gabsch of Heartland Hospice, and the many friends and relatives who came to visit and pray with our mother.
