Dr. Joseph A. "Doc" Seidl
A memorial service will be held for Dr. Joseph A. "Doc" Seidl on Oct. 13 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grafton. Doc passed away peacefully into eternal life on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006 at the age of 79. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the church, followed by memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is serving the family.
Doc was born in Milwaukee on Feb. 10, 1927. He was a 1944 graduate of Marquette High School and served in the U.S. Navy Hospital Corps for two years. He graduated from Marquette University in 1949 and Marquette Medical School in 1953.
Doc was a physician for the Grafton community from 1954-68, followed by a career in occupational medicine with American Motors/Chrysler.
Doc is survived by his beloved wife Genevieve (Dolan); sons John (Karen Huske), Fred (Vicki), Paul and Steve. He was the proud grandfather of Michael, Megan, Melissa, Leah, Scott, Jacob, Julianne and Nicholas; proud great-grandfather of Austin Lee; and dearest brother of Marge (Frank) Tarantino. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
