Lucille L. Teesch
Lucille L. Teesch, 78, formerly of Valders, died Saturday morning, Oct. 14, 2006 at Riverís Bend Health and Rehab Center, Manitowoc.
Lucille was born July 17, 1928 in the town of Cato, the daughter of the late Elmer and Adeline (Wilms) Teesch.
She graduated from Valders High School in 1946 and Manitowoc County Normal teachers College in 1948.
Lucille obtained a bachelorís degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a masterís degree from Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee.
She was an elementary school teacher, retiring in May of 1990.
Lucille enjoyed dancing, bowling, walking in the woods and traveling.
In her youth she was a member of 4-H and Rural Youth. She was also a member of the Manitowoc County Retired Teachers Associa-tion.
Survivors include four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Delmar and Josephine Teesch of Mani-towoc, Bill Teesch, Lawrence and Karen Teesch and Augie Teesch, all of Valders; a niece and two nephews, Tara Teesch of De Pere, Travis (fianceé Dawn Zipperer) Teesch of Kaukauna an Tyler Teesch of Valders.
She is further survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death was a sister, Elaine Teesch, and a brother, Lyle Teesch.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, town of Liberty.
Officiating at the funeral service will be Rev. Gregory Pope, with burial to follow in Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Valders.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until noon.
The Christianson and Deja Funeral Home, Valders, is assisting the Teesch family with funeral arrangements.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Riverís Bend, Dr. Foster and the staff at the Wound Clinic of Aurora Medical Center for their special care of Lucille during her illness and Rev. Gregory Pope for his many prayers and visits.
