Diane D. Marschner

Diane D. Marschner, nee Endlich, 54, of West Bend, passed away Saturday,
Oct. 14, 2006 at the Samaritan Health Center.
She was born on Aug. 29, 1952 in West Bend to the late Byron and Hazel (new Klumb) Endlich.

Diane was raised in West Bend and graduated from West Bend High School in 1970.  She attended the University of Wisconsin-Washington County and in 1974 graduated from Lakeland College with a degree in education.
On July 19, 1975 Diane was united in marriage to Al Marschner Jr. at Trinity
Lutheran Church in West Bend.

Diane had spent the last 28 years teaching for the Kewaskum School District with 20 of those years in Farmington. Through her profession she has deeply touched the lives of many children. Diane retired in 2001 due to health reasons. She was an active member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in West Bend, and member of the church choir. She loved the Green Bay Packers and absolutely anything “Disney." Her family, church, and teaching were the most important things in her life.

Diane is survived by her husband, Al; two children, Andrew and Katie, both
of West Bend; Her mother-in-law, Van Marschner of Appleton; a sister-in-law,
Marilyn Wood of Appleton; two brothers-in-law, Merlin Marschner of St.
Louis, Mo. and Ken (Becky) Marschner of Prescott, Ariz.; other relatives and
many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and uncle, Ollie Endlich.

Funeral services for Diane will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 18. at 7 p.m. at
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, with Rev. Oscar Kraft and Rev. Pam Marolla co-officiating. Visitation will be at the church only on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until thE time of the service.

Cremation will follow at Myrhum-Patten Funeral and Cremation Service, West
Bend, and burial of Diane’s cremated remains will be in Washington County
Memorial Park, West Bend.

Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association, or KEYS (Kewaskum Education YoutH Scholarship Fund) are appreciated by the family.
