Richard "Dick" M. Frank

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 6 p.m. today for Richard "Dick" M. Frank at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tomah. Dick passed away at the age of 71 on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006 at the Pine View Nursing Home in Black River Falls. The Very Rev. Steven J. Kachel will celebrate the Mass. Family and friends are invited for visitation today at the church, from 4 p.m. until the time of Mass. Family and friends are also invited for visitation tomorrow (Oct. 25) at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Cedarburg, from 12:30 p.m. until the prayer service at 2 p.m. The Rev. Mike Lightner will officiate the prayer service. Burial will take place at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Cemetery in Cedarburg following the service. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah is assisting the family with arrangements.

Dick was born on June 3, 1935 in Cedarburg, son of Walter and Elsie Frank. He graduated from Cedarburg High School in 1953. Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served his country for four years attached to a communication squadron in Germany. On July 2, 1960 he was united in marriage to Ruth Heald in Cedarburg. Following his discharge from the Air Force, Dick began his career as a personnel manager at Doerr Electric in Cedarburg, where he worked until moving to the Tomah area. He then became the personnel manager at the Toro Company in Tomah and later at Farnam Sealing Systems in Necedah.

Dick is survived by his wife Ruth; daughters Cynthia "Cindy" Tubbs, Sheri (Jim Finnegan) Marsh and Christine (Jeffrey) Rezin (all of Tomah); grandchildren Eric and Jennifer Tatzel, Nicholas and Tania (Moser) Marsh, Ryan and Amber (Marsh) Schmidt, Jenna (fiance« Steve Dollar) Rezin, Jeremy, Kelsey and Samantha Rezin; great-grandchildren Richelle and Dakota Dollar, Sean and Mikai Marsh, Xavion Schindler and Kirsten Schmidt; sisters Audrey Zwickey of Cedarburg, Monica (Dick) Tillmann of Grafton and Bernice (Bud) Miser of Port Washington; brothers Glenn (Eunice) Frank and Thomas (Rosemarie) Frank (both of Cedarburg). He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Elsie; and brother-in-law Ken Zwickey.
