Helen E. Rauch
Helen E. Rauch, nee Wolf, 81, West Bend, died on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006 at Kathy Hospice, town of Polk.
She was born on Feb. 14, 1925 in Germantown to the late Mathias and Margaret (nee Wick) Wolf.
Following her marriage to Vernon J. Rauch on Jan. 8, 1949 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum, the couple settled in Kewaskum.
Shortly after the family moved to West Bend in the early 1960s, Helen began working at the former Enger Kress Co., retiring in 1991.
She enjoyed traveling by bus with friends to many places throughout the United States.
Survivors include three children, Rodney (Nancy) of West Bend, Marjorie (LeRoy) Wolf of Hartford and Curtis of Kewas-kum; five grandchildren Julie (Mark) Mundinger, Jeremy Rauch, Christopher Rauch (fian-ceŽ Tina Roherty), Ashley Rauch and Alex Rauch; seven great-grandchildren, Nick, Molly, Mark and Darren Mundinger and Paige, Will and Addie Rauch; two sisters-in-law, Jeanette Procknow of Elmore and Audrey Martin of Campbellsport; a brother-in-law, Roger Rauch of Fond du Lac; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; a daughter, Donna Mae; and two brothers, Joseph and Herbert Wolf.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, West Bend, with burial of the cremated remains following in Holy Angels Cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church only on Friday from 10 until 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to SynergyHealth Foundation for the benefit of Kathy Hospice.
The Schmidt Funeral Home of West Bend is serving the family.
