Larry Prahl officiated the funeral service. Visitation was held at the church on Sunday, prior to the service. Mueller Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Marion was born on Nov. 8, 1919 in Grafton, the daughter of the late Walter and Adela (nee Marron) Mueller. On Aug. 26, 1939, she married Erwin (Pete) Pipkorn at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton. Having lived in the Grafton/Cedarburg area her entire life, Marion was involved in a variety of positions - organizing the first hot lunch program at St. Paul Lutheran School; retail at Erdmannís Drug Store, Super Value and Paulusí Market; and as secretary for the Grafton High School guidance department, from which she retired. "Pippy," as she was fondly known by her friends, is remembered for her homemade "Pippyís perfect pickles" and for always having a funny joke to share. Marionís other interests included gathering with friends for card games and bowling, playing piano and organ and singing. In recent years, Marion crocheted infant blankets for the newborns at Columbia St. Maryís Hospital in Mequon.
Marion is survived by her children Ann Mueller, Randall (Nancy) Pipkorn, Jane (Jim) Wegner and Carol (Mark) Krueger; grandchildren Tim Mueller, Dan (Jodi) Mueller, Natasha (Mike) Miller, Mike (JoAnn) Mueller, Jen (Scott) McKinnon, Steve Mueller, Becky (Tom) Arbaugh and Joe Wegner; great-granddaughters Ella Mueller, Stella Miller and Erika Mueller; and sisters-in-law Luella (Clarence) Mueller and Audrey (Ray) Mueller. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Marion was preceded in death by her husband Erwin (Pete) Pipkorn.
Because of Marionís love for music, memorials to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Organ Fund are appreciated.
