Lawrence “Foxy” C. Foy

Lawrence “Foxy” C. Foy,  80, of  King, was called home by the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006.

He was born in Kewaunee on March 25, 1926,  the son of  John Clement and Leona (Duescher) Foy.

Larry was a retired MSgt. from the United States Air Force. He served during World War II in the United States Navy.

Larry was a 32nd degree Mason.

He married Wilfriede Becher on May 14, 1964 in Reno, Nev.

Larry is survived by his wife, Wilfriede; children, Linda (Ru-pert) Yantz, Lawrence Foy, John (Shirley) Foy and Pamela (Terry) Heikkinen; grandchildren,  Greg, Merritt, Andy, Kaylee and Kristen; sisters,   Delores Jones, Betty (Larry) Tremle, Mary (August) Krueger and Florence (Hugh) Blanding.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James.

A private memorial service will be held at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in his honor.

Interment of cremains will be in Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King,  with full military honors.

The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements.

A memorial has been established to the Wisconsin Veterans Home Activity Fund.
Larry will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
