Harold Mueller

Harold Mueller, 76, of Random Lake, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Sunday morning, Sept. 3, 2006.

Harold was born in Belgium on Sept. 19, 1929, son of Alois and Leona Krier Mueller. After going to college at St. Norbert’s, he was united in marriage with Joyce Junge on Aug. 28, 1954 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Random Lake.

Harold took a position at the Random Lake State Bank as a bookkeeper and followed his father as president over the course of 50-plus years on the job.

He was still active as the chairman of Wisconsin State Bank and director of Merchants & Man-ufacturers Bancorp of New Berlin.

Mueller was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Mary’s Chapel, Random Lake, a member of the Random Lake Lions Club, a past member of the Random Lake Fire Department and the Random Lake School Board.

Harold was still very active in supporting the Community Bankers of Wisconsin.

He enjoyed golf, traveling, fishing, investing, auto racing and the beach in Fort Meyers, Fla. Spending time with his family and grandchildren held special joy for him.

Mueller is survived by his wife, Joyce; their seven children, Ronald, Ronda (Roger) Goetsch, both of Random Lake, Lori (Jeff) Kohl of Alden, Mich., Jeff (Fiancˇe Cindy Radzinski) of Cascade, Jack of Los Angeles, Jill (Jesse) Anklam of Random Lake and Mark of Washington, D.C. He is further survived by seven grandchildren, Kara, Courtney, Dion, Jordan, Monica, Mason and Reed; a sister, Joan (Ron) Janssen of Oregon, Wis., two sisters-in-law, Carol Mueller and Audrey Mueller, both of Random Lake, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Allen Mueller.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7 at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Mary’s Chapel, Random Lake. Father Richard Cerpich will officiate.

Entombment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Sheboygan.

The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, on Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 9-10 a.m.

Memorials are suggested to the Random Lake EMTs or Our Lady of the Lakes Child Care Center.
