Andrew J. Loduha Jr.
Andrew J. Loduha Jr., 78, of the town of Jackson died on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006 at Synergy- Health St. Joseph’s Hospital, town of Polk.
He was born on May 13, 1928 in Milwaukee to the late Andrew and Pauline (nee Stassold) Loduha.
As a young child, his family moved to the town of Jackson where they made their home on a farm.
Through the years, the farm provided for the family. Whether it is was running the dairy farm or working in the fields, all aspects were maintained.
The family also had a large vegtable garden that would allow them to participate in a farmer’s market in the Milwaukee area for many years.
Andy worked on the farm up to the time of his death.
His old-fashioned work ethic was something he learned from his parents and passed on to his children.
On June 1, 1957, he married Patricia Pappe.
Andy was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Parish, West Bend, and also was a member of Tuesday and Thursday bowling leagues, of which he was part of two championship teams.
Survivors include five children, Robert (Andrea) and Lori, both of Jackson, Thomas (Mary) of West Bend, Joan (Daniel) Sapa of Sussex and Gary (Lori) of Jackson; 10 grandchildren, Sarah, Miranda, Jason, Dylan, Nathan, Justin and Katelyn Loduha, and Bailey, Eric and Evan Sapa; his former wife, Patricia, of Jackson; a brother, Paul (Lois) of Madison; a sister, Mary (Roger) Braun of Milwaukee; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Loduha of Brookfield; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Steve, and two sisters-in-law, Betty and Bonnie.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 7 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home, N168 W20135 Main St, Jackson, with Fr. Jeff Haines officiating.
Burial will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Angels Cemetery, West Bend.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 3 until 6:30 p.m.
