Helen G. Lloyd
Helen G. Lloyd, nee Seipold, 96, formerly of Eden and West Bend, left this world to join her husband on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006.
She was born on Aug. 26, 1910 to the late William and Gertrude (nee Rautheau) Seipold in Oconto.
Being schooled in the Oconto School system, Helen graduated from Oconto High School in 1929.
Following her marriage to Francis A. Lloyd on June 10, 1939 at St. Joseph’s Church in Oconto, the couple settled on the Lloyd family homestead in Eden.
After the death of her husband on Oct. 5, 1965, Helen moved to West Bend and became employed as a nurse’s aide at the Samaritan Health Center. She retired in 1975.
For the last few years, Helen had lived in Hartford, and most recently was a resident at the Hartford Care Center.
Survivors include two sons, John (Sue) of Menomonee Falls and David (Barb) of Hartford; eight grandchildren, Brian (Mary) of Columbia, Mo., Robert (Natalie) of Campbellsport, Mary (Michael) Guse of Plymouth, Steven (Loretta) of West Bend, Laurie of Milwaukee, Lisa (Todd) Neuville of Audubon, Pa., Cathi (Robert) Dorn of Oconomowoc and Tom of Cedarburg; 12 great-grandchildren, Heather Ander-son, John Lloyd, Sarah Lloyd, Cortney Feypel, Brian Lloyd II, Kirstin Lloyd, Leana Guse, Benjamin Lloyd, Justin Dorn, Nicholas Dorn, Danielle Dorn and Brett Neuville; a great-great-grandson, Alexzander Anderson; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christine, and her brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1025 S. Seventh Ave, West Bend, with Father Jeff Haines presiding.
Burial of the cremated remains will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Eden.
Visitation will be at the church only on Wednesday from 4 until 6:45 p.m.
Masses or memorials to St. Frances Cabrini Parish are appreciated.
