Robert B. "Bob" Schlamer Sr.

Robert B. "Bob" Schlamer Sr., 83, of Kewaskum, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

He was born on Nov. 25, 1922 in West Bend, the son of the late Henry and Marie (Troedel) Schlamer, and on July 28, 1945, he was united in marriage to Marilyn Neidinger at St. Robertís Catholic Church in Shorewood.

Bob proudly served his country in the U. S. Merchant Marines from 1941-45.

He was a member of the Merchant Marines Veterans As-sociation, the Robert G. Romaine American Legion Post 384 Kewas-kum and Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.

Survivors include his loving wife, Marilyn; four children, Dr. Robert Schlamer of Oconomowoc, Mark Schlamer of Campbells-port, Kurt Schlamer of Oak Creek and Lisa (David) Lepak of Rosendale; a grandson, Joshua Lepak; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Schlamer.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Bob will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum, and burial with military graveside rites will be at 10 a.m. on Friday in the parish cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday at the church from 4 p.m. until the time of services.
