Connie Hartwell "Hart" Morris

Visitation will take place today from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg for Connie Hartwell "Hart" Morris. Hart was born to eternal life on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006 at the age of 86. Private funeral services will be held on Sept. 13 and a private interment will take place at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg.

Connie Hartwell Morris was born on Jan. 3, 1920 in Water Valley, Ky., to the late Hallie and Josephine (nee Cavendar) Morris. He was raised in Graves County, Ky. Hart was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Michigan before moving to Cedarburg.

Hart will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Hart is survived by his wife of 62 years, Niola M. (nee Williams) Morris; children Mila (Lonny) Head of Cedarburg; grandchildren Eric (Kelly) Head, Jason (Nettie) Head and Christopher (Carin) Head; great-grandchildren Alex, Adam, Jason, Joe, Andrew, Lauren and Anna Head.

Hart was preceded in death by his precious granddaughter Angela L. Head.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. today at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton for Tom F. Bulgrin. Tom died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006 at the age of 63. Visitation will be held at the church today, from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. The Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton is serving the family.

Tom was born on Sept. 8, 1942 in Milwaukee, son of Doris and Norman Bulgrin. He graduated from Grafton High School in 1960. On Sept. 19, 1964, he married Joanne Friedrich. Tom was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton and had a strong faith in God, his heavenly father.

Tom joined the Grafton Fire Department in 1960. Over the years he served as a lieutenant and captain and then became the assistant chief of the rescue squad until he suffered a stroke in 1987. Even after his stroke, he remained very active with the department and assisted however and wherever he could. Tom learned the electricianís trade from his father and ran Bulgrin & Sons Electric.

Tom was an extremely proud grandpa and he cherished the time he spent with his three grandchildren. They were an immense source of joy for him. Tom was also an avid football fan, with a deep love for the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers and the Grafton Black Hawks.

Tom is survived by his wife Joanne; son Michael; daughter Gillian (Michael) Rakow; cherished grandchildren Megan, Jonathan and Andrew Rakow; mother Doris; brother Richard (Kathleen); sister Susan (Gary) Mercier; mother-in-law Alma Friedrich; and sisters-in-law Karen (William) Kraus and Darlene (Leonard) Hahn. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his father Norman Bulgrin; and his father-in-law Elroy Friedrich.

He will be dearly missed by all of his relatives and friends.
