Beatrice Alice Schroeder

Beatrice Alice Schroeder, nee Warner, 90, of Mayville, formerly of Hartford, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

She was born Dec. 14, 1915 in Milwaukee to Harvey and Agnes (nee Nelson) Warner, and married Henry Schroeder on June 29, 1940 in Milwaukee.

Beatrice was an avid polka fan, and loved to travel. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Peterís Lutheran Church, Kekos-kee.

Survivors include her son, George (Barbara) Schroeder of Mayville; three grandchildren, Corene (Matthew) Giebel, Jenni (David) Hansen and Mark (Kristine) Schroeder; and five great- grandchildren, Mason and Quinn Giebel, Kaleb, Dylan and Seth Schroeder.

Beatrice is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry, in 1991; her parents; and her stepfather, Alex Walschewski.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Sept. 17, at 3 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union St., Hartford, with Rev. Dennis Bratz officiating.

Family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
