Daniel L. "Dan" Heino
Daniel L. "Dan" Heino, 64, of Campbellsport passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2006 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (nee Tomaszewski); his children, Kim (Robin) Bonlander of Kewaskum, Kristen (Wade) Duck of West Bend and Daniel Jr. (Julie) Heino of Kohlsville.
Dan is further survived by five loving grandchildren, Logan, Wade, Kaiden, Jarret and Daniel III; a brother, Joseph (Janet) Heino of Milwaukee; a sister, Susan (David) Dazine of Phillips; brothers-in-law, Tom (Marian) Tomaszewski of Ladysmith and Joseph (Mary) Tomaszewski of West Bend; nieces; nephew; other relatives and friends.
Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lorraine (nee Keller).
Dan was born in Kennan, and graduated from Phillips High School in 1960.
After high school, he moved to Milwaukee and began working in construction.
During this time he married his sweetheart and did some of his several moves back and forth up north and back to Milwaukee while beginning a family of his own.
Dan began a new career in Milwaukee, working at Harley Davidson as a gear lab technician and continued until retirement.
The family had by then moved to Jackson for about 20 years, before finally settling in Campbellsport.
After retirement from Harley Davidson, Dan worked for about seven years at Serigraph, while still restoring his ‘62 Chevy convertible, and enjoying his love of hunting, fishing, many gambling experiences and his pride and joy, his grandchildren.
A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at the Phillip Funeral Chapel in West Bend.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of service. Continued visitation will be held on Wednesday at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church in Kennan, from noon until the time of Mass at 2 pm.
Interment will take place in the cemetery in Kennan.
The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Waukesha Memorial Hospital ICU for their care and for being supportive to the family.
