Lyale H. Ostrander
Lyale H. Ostrander, 80, of Aberdeen, Md., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006.
He was born in the town of Barton on Dec. 10, 1925 to Claude and Hilda (Homuth) Ostrander and entered the U.S. Army at an early age.
Lyale fought in World War II under General Patton in the European Theater in Germany where he married Hilda Bran-tano.
He made a career in the military and was stationed at Aberdeen, Md., retiring there.
Survivors include his wife, Hilda of 59 years; a son, Ronald (Doris) and two grandsons, Shawn and Sheen, all of Sugar-land, Texas; a brother, Leslie (Eleanor) Ostrander of Kewas-kum; nieces; nephews and other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Alvah; a sister-in-law, Ruby; and a grandson, Ronny.
Cremation has taken place.
