Sylvia Ann Revane
Sylvia Ann Revane, nee Kastendieck, 55, of West Bend, passed away Monday, Sept. 25, 2006 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph’s Hospital, town of Polk.
Sylvia was born Aug. 24, 1951, the daughter of Karl and Vivian Kastendieck in Gary, Ind. and married Michael J. Revane on June 17, 1995.
She was a hardworking volunteer for the Washington County Humane Society, the Menomonee Falls Lions Club and the Loyal Order of the Moose of West Bend.
Sylvia will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Michael; her children, Tina (Brian) Hawks, P.h.D.s of California, John Karl Hambuch of California, and Grizzly; her grandson, Martin Hawks; her parents, Karl and Vivian Kastendieck of Arkansas; her siblings, Charles Clark of Hawaii, Dawn (Frank) Odya of Arizona and David (Debbie) Kastendieck of Arkansas; her mother-in-law, Julia Revane; her father-in-law, Michael (Linda) Revane; and her siblings-in-law, Julie (Paul) San Felipe, Tim, John, Bob (Toni) Revane and Kathy (Jerry) McGilsky.
She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other very special relatives and many dear friends.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Kasten-dieck (Nov, 3, 1948 - Aug. 26, 1998).
A funeral service to honor Sylvia will be held on Saturday, Sept. 30, at noon at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 809 S. Sixth Ave., West Bend, with Pastor Robert Hoehner officiating.
Visitation will also take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon at the church only.
The family would like to extend their appreciation for memorials that are offered in honor of Sylvia to the American Cancer Society, in lieu of flowers.
Sylvia extended her heart, appreciation and open arms to children everywhere.
