Janis. E. Bscherer

Janis E. Bscherer, nee Junghans, 67, of Cedarburg found peace Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was the loving mother of Jill (Frederick) Busch of Boulder Junction, Wendy (Richard) Cal-caterra of Marin County, Calif. and Scott (Laura) Bscherer of Cedar Grove; proud and devoted grandma of Nicole, Ricky and Kaitlyn Busch, and Nicholas, Frankie and Joey Calcaterra; and the dear friend of Richard Bscherer.

She is further survived by six sisters, three brothers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Gerhardt and Viola Junghans, and a brother, Paul Junghans.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Oct. 1, at 4 p.m. at Alliance Bible Church, 13939 N. Cedarburg Road, Mequon.

Visitation will be Sunday at the church, from 2 p.m. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Bob Daniel Foundation Inc. (dancers supporting cancer care) or to Alliance Bible Church are appreciated.

Janis worked for many years at Curves, enjoyed playing golf and was also a competitive and social ballroom dancer.

The Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg, is assisting the family.


A heartfelt and special thank you to Columbia St. Mary’s in Mequon, specifically Dr. Dee Ann Smith, Dr. Thomas Zukowski and the nursing staff on the Medical-Surgical Garden Center. Also, Susie Gabsch of Heartland Hospice, and the many friends and relatives who came to visit and pray with mom.
