Kenneth LeRoy Brown
Kenneth LeRoy Brown, 74, has gone home to the Lord on Tuesday April 3, 2007 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend.
He was born to Hugh and Dorothy (nee Wright) Brown on Dec. 4, 1932 in Tomah where he was also raised.
Ken served honorably in the United States Army and was involved in both the Korean War and the Berlin Crisis.
He lived in St. Charles, Ill. for 30 years, moving to West Bend later in life.
Ken was very active in First Baptist Church in West Bend.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ruth; and his children, Debi (Pat) Zingale of Jackson, Kevin of Waukesha, Angela (Mike) Rodenkirch of Slinger, Jennifer (Phil) Cortez of Illiinois and Kenneth (Lezlie) Brown of Ohio.
Papa Brown left behind 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Charlotte Brown.
He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother; a sister; and a great-grandson, Baby Elyjah.
A funeral service will be held Monday April 9. at 11 a.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, with Pastor Dunford officiating.
Friends and family may visit from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m.
Burial is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Park in Union Grove, on Monday.
